She is not often seen and is very hard to find, especially in such great condition. The lady has no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, paint loss, or repairs and is in near mint condition. All of her hair flower petals are intact. On her right side, one of three single pearls is missing from the front of her dress. It could easily be replaced if desired. It in no way detracts from her attractiveness. There are a few spots of dirt on the back of the vase. The inside is just a little dusty but looks as if it was never used as a planter. The textures on her are lush. She is wearing an ivory dress with gold accents. The front and back of the neckline look like long flower petals. Her blonde hair is perfectly wavy. The flower in her hair is also ivory with gold accents. She looks as if she could be a bride. Her dimensions are 6-1/4″ h x 4-1/2″ w x 4-1/2 d. The bottom of the vase is stamped with the Rubens R logo and with 497/M underneath of it. On the bottom, a previous owner has hand written “Christmas 1970 FROM MOM + DAD”. The handwriting does not cover the stamped mark. I’m not sure what was used to write it or if it could be removed. She displays beautifully and is simply stunning.
