1986 Presidents U. S. First Day Covers 40 Postal Commemorative Society Albummint

FIRST DAY COVERS (40) POSTAL COMMEMORATIVE SOCIETY ALBUMMINT. This Wonderful Collection of U. PRESIDENTS FDC’s are from my late father’s extensive Stamp Collection. The FDC’s Mailing Address as well as there Album bear dad’s name Robert C. The Collection has 40 Covers from George Washington to Ronald Reagan, and ending with the last Stamp and Cover of the White House. Each Stamp Denomination is 22 Cent. Interestingly as I counted the Covers which has the last being Reagan the 40th President of the United States, I kept coming up with only 39 President Covers. In researching the not so small problem, I found my answer with President Grover Cleveland. He was our 22nd and 24th U. Presidents, making Cleveland the only President in American History too serve Two Non-consecutive terms in office. So there was only one U. President Stamp made of Cleveland. Making this Album Complete through Reagan (39 Stamps and Covers), with the 40th Stamp and Cover of the White House. The Album is 10-3/4″ High, 9-1/2″ Wide, 1-3/4 Thick, and Weighs 2-1/4 Pounds. Not sure the correct term, but the FDR’s are held in the book via 2 Threaded Bolts. Trying to hold the Album open and take a couple more photos of the Covers by myself, didn’t work out so well. So I tried to get the best photos of the Albums Condition inside and out and one Cover of Washington. All 40 Covers are in the same excellent condition as the Washington Cover. The Postal Commemorative Society does a wonderful job of making a very informative heavy paper sheet for each Cover to fit into. I can and will guarantee this Presidential Album and its FDR’s to be in excellent near Mint Condition. Dad kept this 34 Year Old Album stored from light and smoke all these years since passing. This Album would make an excellent choice for anyone looking for a 1986 Presidents Album of FDR’s! PS, I’m not sure how to go about it, but dad left me with over 50 Binders of the U. Postal Commemorative Society’s Golden Replicas of U. I’ve also have over 450 U. S Mint Sheets and thousands of Plate Block Stamps all in Unused Mint Condition and in Glassine envelopes, which have all been stored in the dark with low humidity. This is a grouping of 3 US Commemorative Stamp Albums in White Ace binders. Two of the binders have dust jackets and all of the binders works well and are still in good condition. Below is a list of what’s included. All are MINT, unused stamps with some in protective covers. There are also some extra stamps included on extra pages in this album and some of these are in plate blocks with the numbers on them. All MINT and most in protective covers. Some extra stamps in this book as well and some are in plate blocks and have the numbers still on them. I counted about 5 stamps not present if I didn’t miss any but most all these stamps are here for these years. Only a few of the stamps from years 68-71 are not included and none of the 1972 stamps are in this album. This album like the other 2 have some extras inside, no ripped or torn pages but some may have spotting from age or storage. None of the stamps in any of these albums appear damaged but a few are a bit lose from their designated spot. From a smoke-free home. They’ve been stored in an upstairs bedroom.
