Zildjian 14 A Hi-Hat (Pair) TRANS STAMP 715/718g 1950s Thin Avedis NEARLY MINT. Please check out Antelope Music for additional new, used, and vintage musical instruments and gear. Up for sale are a factory matched pair of ThIn 1950s Trans Stamp (Type III) 14 hi hat cymbals at a 715/718g weight. These hi hats come from an original factory set of trans stamps found in storage. As a result, they are nearly mint with the only signs of use/age being patina, light scratches, finger prints, and stick marks. NO cracks, keyholes, dents, bites, or edge wear. Mounting hole is the original small 7/16. Trans stamp lathing, lathe chatter, and beautiful hammering that goes to each cymbal edge. These have a nice golden patina. They sound really dark and have a good fast volume distinguishing chick. The size and weight contribute to an amazing wash, SUPER DRY stick, and warm sound overall. Price reflects the rarity and condition of these vintage THIN 14 Trans Stamp 50s hi hat cymbals. A basic video is available to provide a general idea of how each cymbal sounds. No equalization or enhancements are added. As a result, cymbal brightness is exaggerated. Headphones are strongly encouraged. The cymbals listed on Antelope Music are mostly vintage and can be up to 70 years old. As a result, there will be original foundry imperfections and signs of wear however only the most glaring defects might be listed or shown. Lastly, cymbal sizes are rounded to the nearest inch. Cymbal weight is done by scale and year/era/model dating is done through a lot of research however both should only be considered an approximation.
