We recently acquired several photos and letters of George Pullman (Pullman Sleeping Cars) and family. We are not familiar with a grading system, so please note that all of these photos and other ephemera are very old, well over 100 years. The condition is not perfect on any of them, although some are surprisingly better than others. Each one listed can also be viewed in person at our brick and mortar store in Peterborough, NH. This is huge lot of 200+ letters. Most are between the family with their eldest son who is away at boarding school (Abbott School Farmington Me) and then college (Amherst College, Amherst MA) during the 1915 era, then he becomes a Professor, the husband and his mom/sisters, eldest son away at school and his father’s family, children at second home during the summer while doctor father is working back home. The home was located in Peterboro NH. I read a few and I do recall one talking about the Fall River Fire, I read about the son climbing Mt Monadnock in Jaffrey NH, trying to come up with a solution re: cleaning the toilet, rabbit cages, planting seeds/gardens.
