Accurate page by page count of over 4,000 stamps. Both new and cancelled with photos showing just a sampling of the entire album. Occasional hinge remnants and empty mounts but overall a collection in nice condition. Binder in good shape with some wear along the hinges.

A Scott International Junior album (1943 edition, the same pages were later renamed Scott International Part I) holding a very substantial collection of 9,000+ mint and used worldwide stamps, the binder with wear commensurate with its 77 years of age, but still sound, and the pages are complete for this edition. We saw no duplication. We note plenty of better and more unusual material in this above average collection, making it a very attractive option to combine with an existing collection of world stamps of this period. The simplified Scott layout presents a great opportunity for the collector of older world issues to search for the better varieties of paper, watermark, shade and perforation so often to be found on these early and middle period stamps. Lot 6 NASA Stamped Tagged Part Saturn V Skylab Module Assembly Diode 1971
For sale is a fascinating piece of NASA history, 6 module assembly diodes. One of the diodes bears a NASA stamped tag along with NASA-stamped configuration requirements data list. The tag identifies the part as a Module Assy Diode for the Skylab program. The GE0077 Serial number on the tag exactly matches the serial number on the diode itself. It’s listed quality test date is March 8, 1971. The lot contains 5 other diodes whose history is mostly unknown, though two of the have labels with a testing date, one tested on Feb. 7, 1973 and the other on July 29, 1965. This is from the estate of the Launch Support Lead for Apollo and Ground Systems who worked for General Electric. Based on estate items, he had a strong background in electrical and computer engineering and a longtime association with General Electric, part of their Quarter Century Club. Picture 12 is a letter of his to the launch support team, dated Nov. 14, 1973: The Subject Line reads: SKYLAB-4/AS-208 LAUNCH SUPPORT. I have several items from the estate that date well before 1973, but I can verify he was the Launch Support Lead in 1973, whatever role he had with earlier Saturn V missions. The original letter itself is not included in the sale, but I will send a copy of the letter with the parts. I want both us to come out winners here. All of these items are from a smoke-free home.
