Vtg Norcrest P697 Blue-tailed Mermaid On Fish Wall Plaque / Figurine Mint Stamp

She is part of a three-piece set of wall plaques/figurines of blue-tailed mermaids riding different types of fish. Although this listing is just for the one Norcrest mermaid wall plaque/figurine, the last photo shows the group of three and how great they look together. The wall plaque’s/figurine’s textures are lush and the detailing is exquisite. The mermaid has a matte finish and the fish has a glossy one. She is riding on an iridescent off-white fish with scalloped fins and a blue rhinestone eye. The fish’s head and tail are level. The piece can stand up on its own or sit on a shelf; it can also be hung. Two small hanging holes are on the back of the fish’s body. The item’s back retains the entire original foil label which says JAPAN. It is stamped P697 on the fish’s bottom. Norcrest used to number their models using a P series. For the sake of accuracy, there is a factory pinhole near the bottom of the fish’s small lower fin. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, paint loss, scratches, or repairs. The mermaid on a fish wall plaque/figurine is in mint condition. Its dimensions are 5-1/2″ h x 5-1/2″ w x 2 d. Vintage Noritake Goldfish Figurine, Mint with Stamp and Label, Nippon Toki

You are looking at a really nice vintage Noritake goldfish figurine. I believe this piece was produced in 1946. The color is a gorgeous deep red-orange, with white markings on the tail and fins and a bit of white on the body. The orange is glossy and the white is matte with a sheen to it. The eyes are a deep gold color with black pupils. The scales and the ribbing on fins and tail are well defined. It measures 3 1/4″ high to the top of the dorsal fin and the length is about 6″ from mouth to tail tip. Width is 3 3/4 at the widest point of the tail. This piece is absolutely mint. There are NO breaks, chips or repairs and I do not see any factory flaws. The underside of the tail has the Noritake stamp which reads “Noritake Bone China” and “Nippon Toki Japan”. There is also a silver metallic label with black lettering that reads “Noritake Bone China”. It will be a very nice addition to your collection. If the cost is higher, I will cover the difference. You can be sure your item will reach you safely. Careful packing is included at no extra charge. Much of my packing material is recycled but I make sure that it is clean.
